THE RED STRIPE BAND

The Band was formed way back in 1994 by (in the words of NME) “Eccentric raconteur and Boogie Woogie front man Red Stripe”

Expect a high energy and entertaining mix of classic Rock n roll, swing, jazz and boogie woogie alongside their own compositions selected from their four studio albums.

Pay on the door admission…                                                                                     Doors from 7.00p.m. Music from 8.00p.m.                                                                                               

Admission usually only £15.00 cash or card

 Don’t forget to bring your favourite tipple. We don’t have a bar but you are welcome to bring along your own drinks, glasses and snacks.

Why not come and join us for our Open (Free!) rehearsal on Monday September 14th when we are starting work on Carl Orff’s ‘ Carmina Burana’ ?

The momentous events of World War 2 are fully explained, including the story of:
“Faith, Hope & Charity”
and that might just surprise you?
 
 
Many of the important locations are visited and shown as they appear today.
 
The meeting is held in Wetherby Methodist Church at 2:30 pm
 
 Followed by tea/coffee and biscuits in the main hall. Non-members are welcome for a £2 entry fee. (Refundable if you join on the day)
